Portable Appliance testing is made up of two primary elements that for inspection purposes are sub-divided.

Course Title: The Management of Electrical Installations

As mentioned in relation to legal responsibilities, a duty holder must be nominated as being responsible for an electrical installation; it is not necessary to be a qualified electrician, but it is necessary to be competent in understanding the legal responsibilities, in understanding and interpreting test results and being able to make informed decisions in relation to damaged, faulty or in-appropriate use/location of equipment.
Our half-day seminars are designed to provide the knowledge necessary to fulfil these obligations confidently and in an informed manner. This course is designed for Managers, Department / Section heads, Supervisors etc. No previous electrical knowledge is necessary.
